New in 2011
Arizona Memorial Visitor Center is near completion and scheduled to officially open on December 7, 2010. The original center was designed and built to accommodate approximately 2,000 visitors. However, since its opening nearly 30 years ago, the center has grown to become one of Hawaii’s largest tourist attractions with over 4,000 visitors a day. The new facility will have three new museums designed to educate visitors about pre-war life in Hawaii and around the world. Until now, precious artifacts, documents, photographs and personal memorabilia have been in storage, never seen by the public.
Tribute performances and wreath laying ceremonies in Pearl Harbor continue to be a highlight of our tours to Hawaii.
