Ireland

Year after year, Ireland proves to be our most affordable destination! Ireland is consistently less expensive than the rest of Europe because it is closest to the U.S., air taxes to Ireland are lower and tourism is Ireland’s #1 industry. The Irish are eager to host and willing to help stretch your travel dollars. You’ll get the most geographical mileage in Ireland too. Being such a compact country, it’s easy to get around to several cities within a week long tour and not feel rushed & exhausted.

A few of our favorite places to visit…

  • Cobh Heritage Center, located near Cork, is a museum honoring the Irish who emigrated between 1848 and 1950. The museum provides a great public performance venue as well.
  • The Giant’s Causeway, located on the northern coast of Ireland. This stunning natural wonder is Ireland’s only World Heritage Site. Hundreds of basalt columns emerge from the water with strange regularity, forming a striking sight against the looming gray cliffs. You have to see it to believe it.
  • Visit an Irish family farm where you can explore the farm, meet the cows, calves, friendly dogs and even try the milking machines. The family will welcome you into their kitchen for a cup of tea and scones, where you can hear first-hand all about Irish country life and school.

From the rolling green hills of the Giant's Causeway to the ancient Castle of Blarney, Ireland tells a story of struggle and the noble desire to persevere. On this tour you'll see all the major cities and count yourself among the lucky number that have performed in this mystic land of fables and legends.

The Limerick International Band Festival Limerick, Ireland

The Irish Limerick International Band Festival takes place in Limerick City, Ireland. Held during St. Patrick's Week festivities, this internationally recognized festival has been going strong for over 30 years and plays host to marching bands, concert bands, drill & dance teams, and choirs from Ireland, Europe, and around the world. It's a wonderful opportunity to see the glory of historic Ireland and perform with bands, choirs and teams from around the world!
