Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Dublin, Ireland | March 17, 2025

A high-profile event that you will never forget. Over 500,000 people line the parade route as it weaves through the main streets of Dublin. Today everyone is Irish and the color green is everywhere! Waikiki Holiday Parade

Honolulu, Hawaii | November 28, 2025

The Waikiki Holiday Parade is a nighttime parade that commemorates the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor each year. The parade is host to local Hawaiian bands, marching bands from the mainland, Pearl Harbor survivors, service bands, military units, local officials and dignitaries. Bands typically tour the island of Oahu in addition to performing in the parade. Other sites include Pearl Harbor, the Polynesian Cultural Center and Waikiki Beach.

Rome New Year’s Parade

Rome, Italy | January 1, 2025

The Rome New Year’s Parade is a European-style parade in conjunction with the World Day of Peace. The route ends in St. Peter’s Square, where over 100,000 people from all over the world gather to hear the Pope’s annual New Year’s blessing. After the blessing, bands have a stationary performance for the enormous crowds in the square. Festive holiday markets, towering turrets and sky-scraping spires, bustling crowds and old world architecture ~ the heart of Prague is the perfect setting for a holiday parade. The Prague Christmas Parade is a European-style parade where spectators often fall in step behind the procession with applause and merriment. Annually, the week of Thanksgiving.

Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day Parade

Chicago, Illinois | November 27, 2025

The 1.4-mile 6ABC Dunkin’ Donuts Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade is the oldest in the country and a true Philadelphia tradition. The city streets make way for massive floats and giant balloons, plus local performers from choirs, dance groups, marching bands and more. Santa himself arrives in grand fashion, ushering Philadelphia into the holiday season.

This event could be combined with a performance tour of New York City since it is less than a two hour drive away.

Cabalgata de Reyes Magos(Three Kings Parade)

Madrid, Spain | January 5, 2025

This evening parade caps off the Christmas season with a celebration you have to see to believe. Every year on the eve of Epiphany, approximately two million spectators line the two-mile parade route through central Madrid from Nuevos Ministerios to City Hall at Plaza de la Cibeles. It features imaginative floats, colorful costumes, marching bands and more. The parade is televised throughout Spain and also receives coverage throughout the world.

Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade

Huntington Beach, California | July 4, 2026

The tradition began on July 4, 1904, when Huntington Beach commemorated the arrival of the first electric passenger train linking the area with Long Beach and Los Angeles. The Board of Trade, a forerunner of the Chamber of Commerce, sponsored this first event, bringing 50,000 people to town to join in the day’s celebration. Kicking off rodeo week festivities will be the traditional Rooftop Rodeo Parade in downtown Estes Park featuring bands, horseback riders, draft hitches, floats, unique automobiles, rodeo royalty, clubs, organizations, traveling bands, trick riders, clowns and more. This parade has added a distinctive and western flavor to Estes Park as the colorful entourage makes its way along Elkhorn Avenue to the Stanley Park Fairgrounds.

Magnificent Mile Lights Festival Parade

Chicago, Illinois | November 22, 2025

The centerpiece of the day-long festival is the evening parade, and the lights on Michigan Avenue are literally illuminated block-by-block as the procession passes. More than 1 million spectators line the parade route each year to see the lighted floats, marching bands, balloons and performing artists. Because of the parade’s unique overall format and time considerations, the parade is limited to five or six marching bands each year.

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

New York City, New York | November 27, 2025

This nationally televised parade features 50-foot balloons, floats, cheerleaders, dancers, performance groups, clowns, marching bands and celebrity performers. Universal’s Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s

This magical parade takes place on select nights November – January!

Once the legendary Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade ends in New York City, many of its breathtaking balloons and floats are sent straight to Orlando for Universal Studios Florida’s very own holiday spectacular featuring marching bands, clowns, and an appearance from Santa himself! Afterwards, enjoy the spectacular tree lighting ceremony with music and a dazzling display of lights!

Fiesta Bowl Parade

Phoenix, Arizona | December 16, 2026

The parade features a wide variety of brightly-colored floats, magnificent helium balloons, equestrian units, specialty groups, charitable organizations and local celebrities. This event will also showcase the participants and winners of various Fiesta Bowl events, including participants in the Fiesta Bowl Band Championship, winners of the Fiesta Bowl Twirl-Pom-Cheer & Flag Championship and the Fiesta Bowl Queen & Court.

2025 Presidential Inaugural Parade

Washington, D.C. | January 20, 2025

Gateway ensures an unforgettable experience for invited marching bands at the Presidential Inaugural Parade. We collaborate with the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies to provide top-notch support. The majority of entries include high school and university marching bands, along with military units, cultural groups, dance groups, and state delegations. New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade

New York City, New York | March 17, 2025

The New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade is America’s oldest and proudest Irish tradition, marching for the first time more than 250 years ago, on March 17, 1762 – fourteen years before the Declaration of Independence.

This parade always takes place on St. Patrick’s Day unless the 17th falls on a Sunday, then the parade is held on Saturday March 16.

TThe annual Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition & Festival is one of the most innovative jazz education events in the world. Each year, high school musicians from across North America travel to New York City to spend three days immersed in workshops, jam sessions, rehearsals and performances at the “House of Swing,” Frederick P. Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center.
